kirby is a ridgeback x staffy? puppy approx 8 weeks old. She's outgoing and happy and enjoys romping with her carer's jack russells. She likes playing with empty toilet rolls and her big stuffed tiger and teddy bears. She uses a doggy door and is learning to go to the toilet on command. Kirby loves her food so much she was named after a vacuum cleaner!. . . . Kirby and her brother dyson love their cuddles and are fat and healthy. They enjoy all sorts of puppy play and mischief. After a hard day of eating and wrestling they will put themselves to bed (currently in the dining room). They don't like being outside on their own. . . . This litter of 7 puppies was found on 29/4/11 in a box near a main road. They could not have been there long as they were all in good condition, well fed and healthy. They were probably 5 to 7 weeks old. The kind man who found them brought them to dog rescue newcastle and we put them into two loving foster homes. We can't be sure of their breed but they look like perhaps ridgeback and staffy mix. They will grow into large dogs that will need a good sized yard and a daily walk. A property check will be conducted. . . All pups, especially larger breeds, need obedience training so they grow up to be good canine citizens. We recommend puppy pre-school offered through all vets. . . . These puppies are just so intelligent, happy and cuddly. The $380 adoption fee for each of puppy includes includes their flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and first and second vaccinations (depending on their age when you take them home they may need one more vaccination at your expense). The cost of the dog's desexing at one of our nominated vets is included and must be done before the dog is 5 months old. Lifetime registration is not included because it can't be done until the dog is desexed. After your dog is desexed you will need to register him or her at any council and it will cost you $40. . . .
