About Sandy
Please meet our beautiful girl “Sandy”.
Sandy is the sweetest and most gentle girl you will find. She is great with other dogs, is good with cats, and loves people. She has beautiful manners to match her beautiful personality. She loves to go for walks, car rides, and to snuggle on the couch with her people. Sandy is always up for a play with toys and you will often find her walking around with a ball or teddy in her mouth waiting for you to play with her.
Sandy is house trained, crate trained, can use a doggy door, knows how to sit on command, will fetch, and walks well on lead. She loves her food so will be easy to train, just make sure not to leave food around or her Lab nose will detect it. Sandy used to be an outdoor dog and does like a lot of outside time but has become very happy with the perks of being an indoor girl and being close to her family.
Even though Sandy is 7yrs old she is still very playful and loves play and walks. She will make a great companion or family dog and deserves the very best for her remaining years. She has already had at least 3 litters of puppies so well and truly needs to have life all about her from now on.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.

• You have a good-sized secure yard.
• Sandy will not be alone for more than 7 hrs.
• You will enrol her in obedience training.
• You will allow her to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will be attending.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
