Our beautiful Magritte is an 11yr old female silver Maine Coon.
Magritte is all things Maine Coon - very affectionate, playful, water loving gentle giant with a gentle, loving temperament.
Don't let her age fool you, Magritte is still very playful and her favourite thing is chasing balls. She is also obsessed with water! She will wait for you to finish in the shower and hop in for her own shower time as soon as you step out.
Magritte also loves people but needs a home without children under 12 years. She has lived with large dogs and other cats her whole life, but at this stage in her life we would like to see her as an only pet so she has her humans to herself.
Being a Maine Coon, Magritte has grooming requirements that are very important to stay on top of. Daily brushing is needed to keep her coat in good condition and prevent matting. She will let you trim her nails when needed.
She has been on a diet of Royal Canin Maine Coon dry food her whole life, and likes various wet food such as Royal Canin Maine Coon and Applause tuna treats.
Magritte has lived STRICTLY INDOORS all her life and MUST BE KEPT INDOORS ONLY. She is litter trained.
Magritte has come from an exceptionally loving home and we expect nothing less than this for her new home. It is a requirement of her adoption that contact must be kept with rescue and previous owner.

When meeting one of our animals in care, please remember that like a lot of animals, cats can take time to adjust to new people and environments no matter how friendly and loving they really are. We ask you to keep this in mind when meeting cats at meet ‘n’ greets (and when you take them home) and not rule them out straight away just because they are not all over you at the first meeting. You could miss out on the most wonderful companion. 💖

We ask that before you apply for one of our animals, you take the time to think through all aspects of having a pet in your home to ensure it is the right thing for both your family and the animal, now and in the future. Please consider how you would approach changes in your home that may affect your pet and how dedicated you would be to keeping/helping your animal when faced with any issues that may arise in the future.

We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in to see if it is the right match.
Before adoption, all of our animals are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, flea/worm treated and heart worm tested (where appropriate).
