About Briar Rose
Meet Briar Rose
Briar Rose is named after the fairytale character 'Sleeping Beauty' (Sleeping Beauty's 'real' name in the fairytale is Briar Rose). She lives up to her namesake - in addition to her stunning pale tortoiseshell colouring, she loves her beauty sleep! She is one of a litter of 6 orphaned kittens dumped on someone's driveway. They were subsequently placed in DCH care.
Briar Rose is sweet, cuddly, quiet and friendly. She loves to curl up in your lap or cuddle up next to you or her siblings and sleep. When she is awake, you will often see her climbing up cat trees and playing chasing games with you or her siblings.
She loves kitten wet and dry food, as well as playing with kitten toys (balls, feathers and plushies are her favourites). She is litter-trained on sand and pellets. She respects clothes, shoes and furniture.
Briar Rose is microchipped and has received her first vaccination. She has never had fleas or worms while under DCH care. She will be ready to join her forever family from 9 December 2024 (at 8 weeks old). If you are looking for a sweet, cuddly, stunning, low-maintenance kitten, then Briar Rose would love to meet you.

To find out more information about this animal, or to organise a time to see them, please contact our foster carer listed who will take you through the adoption process.
Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
