Billie and Misty are a mother-daughter duo!
These 2 cuties are polar opposites when it comes to personalities, but they are bonded and need each other for a perfect balance! Adopting these 2 together will be a wonderful decision because it allows them to stay together, maintaining their emotional well-being. Pairs like Misty and Billie provide comfort and companionship to each other, reducing stress and anxiety, especially in a new environment!
They already have a built-in playmate, which keeps them entertained and active, making them less likely to feel lonely or bored. Plus, caring for 2 lovely cats isn’t much more work than one, and you’ll get double the love, purrs, and happy moments in your home. Keeping them together ensures their strong bond remains intact, allowing them to thrive emotionally and physically.
Now let’s deep dive into these cuties individually!
Adoption fee for both is $200.00
Misty
4 years
Female
Domestic short hair - Tortoiseshell
• Hi there! I’m Misty, a curious and confident cat with a heart full of love and whiskers full of personality. I’m always on the lookout for my next adventure - whether it’s scaling the highest shelf, investigating the contents of a cozy cardboard box, or keeping watch from my favourite sunny spot by the window.
• I might act like I’ve got it all figured out, but deep down, I’m a cuddle bug who’ll curl up between your legs while you’re asleep!
• I’m inquisitive by nature, so don’t be surprised if I inspect your grocery bags, or even help you cook. I believe life is better with a little mischief and a lot of purring. Purrrrfect combination!
• I like chatting with the birds outside (they never reply, but I have hope) and hopping into the shower after you’re done to make sure it’s clean.
• Head butting you for attention is another favourite pastime!
Seeking:
• I’m searching for a family who appreciates a cat with a mind of her own.
• Someone who understands the importance of head scratches, belly rubs (only on my terms!), and the occasional late-night zoomy.
• Bonus points if you’re skilled at tossing treats!

Billie
2½ years
Female
Domestic long hair - Tabby
• Hi, I’m Billie. I’m a little shy at first (I like to observe from a safe distance), but once I feel comfortable with you, I’ll show you just how sweet and loving I can be.
• I’m not one for big crowds or loud noises, but I’m the perfect companion if you like quiet moments and gentle companionship.
• Think of me as a hidden gem - patiently waiting to give you all my affection once we’ve built trust.
• I enjoy curling up in cozy corners, watching the world go by, playing with mum and slowly coming out of my shell to enjoy some one-on-one time.
• I’m all about the soft purrs, gentle headbutts, and sweet little nuzzles.
• You’ll know you’ve won my heart when I start to follow you around and ask for scratches.
• I like snacks! How else do you think I keep this purrfect figure? And playing hide and seek.
• I also like gourmet meals, preferably served at exactly the same time every day. Seriously, I’ll be watching you until you wake up. Then politely ask you to feed me!
Seeking:
• A peaceful afternoon with no rush - just a comfy spot by the window, soft music, and a couple of treats.
• Maybe we can even share some quiet time with a good book or a cup of tea.
• I’m not the type to demand attention, but I’ll definitely curl up beside you once I feel at ease.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. This can be extended if needed.
The adoption fee includes desexing, vaccinations, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on “best fit” for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
