Meet Rufus!

Rufus is an 11-year-old Domestic Short Hair who, like his best friend Henry, is a gentle soul with a heart full of love. Rufus and Henry are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. While Rufus can be a bit shy in new situations, he's incredibly affectionate once he feels comfortable, especially enjoying evening snuggles and massages.

Rufus tends to get overwhelmed in large open spaces, so he'll need a quiet, calm start in a smaller, secure area before gradually exploring the rest of the home. Providing plenty of safe spaces like scratch posts, cat trees, and cozy hideaways will help him feel secure.

Rufus will do best in a home with older kids who understand how to respect his space and give him time to adjust. He's a sweet and loyal companion who will thrive with the right family who can offer him patience and love.
