Hi! I’m Portia! I’m just a shy little old lady looking for my forever home! I have the most gentle, kind soul and would love for you to consider adopting me.
While I am super sweet, I may be a little bit nervous of you at first but I warm up super quickly when I realise you’re kind! I also love my foster brother, I confide in him whenever I’m nervous or just want snuggles!
Since I’m getting older, my knees are a bit sore so I’ll need arthritis injections to help me get going! I also need to lose a little bit of weight to make sure they don’t get worse!
Besides that, I promise I will show you so much love and give plenty of snuggles if you’ll consider letting me join your family ❤️🐕

▪️ ONGOING: Portia will need a daily joint care chew and quarterly synovan injection to provide support her joints.
Nine year Portia was sadly surrendered into the care of the NSW/ACT team (through no fault of her own). Having received the all clear from Dr Rennie, our veterinarian, Portia is now ready to find her forever home and we hope in time for Christmas!🎄

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescues, there are few things that need to take place that form part of the adoption process:
1. You will need to fill in an adoption form, which is located via our website https://www.pugpatrolrescueaustralia.com.au/pug-adoption-application/
2. If there is a rescue that is suited to you, you will receive a call from one of our foster carers and a phone interview will occur;
3. If mutually agreed, a meet and greet will be organised;
4. A home check will be undertaken
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
The rescue group is no longer taking adoption applications for this pet.
