About Lotus
Lotus is a gentle, loving girl who will be by your side through thick and thin and make your house a home ♡
She's a smoocher who loves nothing more than being with her beloved humans. If you're lost in thought she'll bring you back to the present with little headbutts, gently reminding you she's there and can provide that unconditional love and support that only pets can. She communicates with sweet trills and dramatic swishes of her fluffy tail. When not purring on your lap or cuddling up with you, she keeps herself entertained with little felt balls or packing paper.
Regarding other pets Lotus prefers to be an only pet so will not suit a home with existing cats or dogs or take to other pets being introduced to the home later.
Regarding her perfect family she would be lonely if her people were at work/school full time, she'll be happiest if able to spend time with you at least part time hours.

ABOUT OUR ORGANISATION
Sunny Days runs Victoria's only specialised stray cat rehab facility in Avalon, Vic. Our centre operates 24/7 and is in constant demand due to the number of cats born wild.
HOW ARE WE FUNDED?
We have no source of ongoing funding. Unlike public pounds, volunteer-run shelters do not receive government funding, we are left to fund our work through our own pockets and community donations.
UNABLE TO ADOPT OR VOLUNTEER BUT WOULD LIKE TO HELP?
We receive adoption fees from the animals we rehome however these are rarely enough to cover what we spend to prepare them for new homes. Aside from adoption fees, we receive no other funding except community donations, which are invaluable to our work. OUR WORK WITH CATS
Cats are humanely trapped after being identified as un-owned and we support them through full rehabilitation from wild to fully domesticated. We provide sanctuary for as long as they need.
We offer a lifetime guarantee to take any of our adopted cats back should their adopters are no longer able to care for them.
