About Aspen & Arizona
Meet Aspen and Arizona, the delightful feline sister duo who complement each other beautifully. While they both share a gentle disposition, each has her unique personality that makes them an irresistible pair.
Aspen, with her affectionate and slightly clingy nature, loves to be at the heart of any gathering. This kitty has no problem making her presence known and loves to drape herself over the shoulder of anyone relaxing on the couch. She's always happy to hang out right in the centre of the room, soaking in the attention she seems to effortlessly draw. Although a bit moody at times, she remains gentle and is especially wonderful with gentle children, easily forming a protective bond with them.
Aspen does not enjoy the company of cats outside of her sister. However, you will often find her lounging comfortably on the counter, content to oversee the bustling activity around her.
Arizona, on the other hand, is a playful spirit—full of confidence and always ready for a game with anyone who’s up for it. She enjoys a quick snuggle but prefers playing with toys over being held. Social and charming, Arizona is an excellent companion for active families. Her sociable personality makes her a joy to be around, and her playful antics are bound to bring laughter to your home. Though she’s great with kids, she prefers observing them from a high perch.
Together, Aspen and Arizona will bring warmth and charm to a home that appreciates their individual quirks and loving companionship. Whether it’s Aspen sitting regally on your shoulder or Arizona initiating playtime, this pair promises countless heartwarming moments. Medical notes
Arizona is FIV positive.
FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, is a virus that weakens a cat's immune system, making them more susceptible to other infections and diseases, similar to HIV in humans but only affecting cats. It is primarily spread through deep bite wounds from infected cats. While there's no cure, FIV-positive cats can live long lives with proper veterinary care, including regular check-ups, a good diet, and keeping them indoors to prevent secondary infections and virus spread.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.fosterkittensofmelbourne.org/adopt
2. The relevant foster carer will be in touch with you within a few days if they would like to progress further with your application
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
