About Midnight
Midnight, affectionately known as Onix, is a stunning 3-year-old ex-research cat looking for a patient and understanding home where he can truly shine. This handsome boy may take some time to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, he reveals his affectionate side, greeting you with soft meows and leaning in for gentle neck scratches. While he’s not overly needy, he enjoys companionship on his own terms—preferring to lay beside you rather than on your lap, soaking in the warmth of your presence and accepting head rubs when the mood strikes. Midnight’s quiet confidence makes him a rewarding companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of independence.
An ideal home for Midnight would be a peaceful, adult-only environment where he can settle in at his own pace. While he would prefer a calm household, he could share his space with another cat or a cat-friendly dog who respects his boundaries. During the day, Midnight is happiest perched on his cat tower, watching the world go by through the window or stretching out in a sunny spot for a well-earned nap. He enjoys the simple pleasures in life—lounging in comfort, observing the outside world, and curling up in a safe, familiar space.
Midnight is strictly an indoor-only cat, though a secure catio would be a welcome addition to his world, allowing him to enjoy fresh air safely. With time, patience, and a quiet home where he can feel secure, Midnight will reward his adopter with gentle affection, soft greetings, and a lifetime of quiet companionship. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance yet deeply rewarding feline friend, Midnight could be the perfect match for you.
