About James
Adopt James – The Husky Who’s Ready for His Forever Home
Meet James, a 6-year-old Husky with the gentlest nature and the kindest heart. Despite spending a whole year in the pound, we honestly don’t know why he was overlooked for so long – he’s a total dreamboat! This sweet boy has never given up hope, and now it’s time for everyone to take notice of this absolute star. James is ready to leave his past behind and finally find the loving family he so deeply deserves.
James is the epitome of a well-behaved companion. He’s calm, placid, and a joy to be around. He will sit when asked, waits patiently when required, and is always ready for a cuddle. Belly rubs and pats are his favourite – he’ll happily snuggle into you on the couch and just enjoy being close. His temperament is nothing short of perfect, making him the ideal addition to any family. He’s as beautiful in nature as he is in looks, with striking Husky features and soulful eyes that melt your heart.
My Ideal Home: James would love a family that are looking for a dog to just be best buds with, he’s fantastic with both kids and adults – a big, cuddly teddy bear at heart. James enjoys sitting down to play and is incredibly patient, making him the perfect companion for any family looking for a loving, loyal friend.
My Energy Level: Although he’s a big, strong dog, James has a moderate energy level and enjoys a good balance of play and relaxation. He loves his daily walks and would thrive with about 30 plus minutes of walking twice a day, or even a good run in a big open space. He’s ready for his next adventure and would make the perfect walking or jogging buddy.
My Suitability to Children: James is absolutely wonderful with children. He’s gentle, affectionate, and loves to be around them. With his calm and sweet demeanour, he’s like a big teddy bear, always ready to snuggle or play.
My Suitability to Other Animals: James has only interacted with other animals while on a leash, so he hasn’t been tested off-leash yet. However, he’s a calm and well-mannered boy, and we believe he’d do well with another dog in the home, especially one who enjoys his gentle play. He’s not a fan of cats or birds, as he tends to get a little too excited to play with them.
Fun Facts About Me!
James is a huge fan of cuddles and will happily bury his head into your lap on the couch for a good belly rub. Who says lap dogs have to be small? James is definitely a "lap dog" in spirit, despite his size. And when he gets the zoomies, it's absolutely hilarious – he’s like a goofy puppy again, running around with pure joy.
James has been waiting a long time for his chance at happiness, and now it's time for him to find his forever family. If you’re looking for a loving, well-behaved dog who’s ready to shower you with affection and be your loyal companion for life, James is the one for you.
Adopt James and give this sweet boy the forever home he deserves!
