About Missy
Introducing Missy, a mild-mannered dog with a heart as gold as her coat. This girl loves people and will follow you around as you go about the house then lie quietly at your feet when you are resting. When invited, she will jump on your lap for a pat and cuddle. She also loves other dogs, particularly those who will engage in bouts of play. She is currently fostered with 3 other dogs, male and female, and gets along well with them all.
Miss M is a small dog but not tiny. Her shoulder height is about 40 cm. She is approximately 2 years old, however, the white fur on her face makes her appear older; she also has the same white fur on the tips of her paws. She has very soft fur and a lovely bushy corkscrew tail which is always wagging.
Missy sleeps soundly all night and is not a fussy eater. She loves going for walks and walks gently on a loose lead. She will bark If a stranger approaches the house but stops when told; she has excellent recall.
This dog has a real spring in her step so will require adopters who have a reasonably high fence. She will also do best with another dog who is the same size or slightly larger and who will engage with play and do zoomies with her.
Missy is both an inside and outside dog and is not one to be left alone in the yard for long periods; she needs to be included in family life as she is very gregarious and loves pleasing her people. In summary, this little girl is affectionate, loyal and playful and a marvellous companion dog.
