Xertz Came to us well behaved in the backyard but very hesitant to come into the house. However, he settled into a crate over the first few days where he sleeps all night. He is a bit jumpy initially when you go out into the yard but will then hop into a chair for a brush which he loves.

He is happy to play in the yard or just sit with you while you work outside. Xertz loves a brush or a pat and has a beautiful gentle nature. He enjoys zoomies with my small dog.

I have been unable to introduce Xertz to children but he wants to make friends with any adults he meets. He seems disinterested in our cats which he has looked at through the window without any aggression/barking. Xertz leads without pulling but still needs some training. He understands the word “No” and doesn’t try to push through doorways.

Xertz would be a lovely companion for a family with children or as company for another gentle natured dog
