About Pumba
Hi, my name is Pumba, and I am eagerly looking for a forever home where I can live happily ever after. Not only am I a very handsome dachshund but can boast that I have a very pleasant nature, and remain truly loyal to my human companions. I just want to be loved and to give love in return.
I am very much an inside dog who loves snuggling up on the couch with my humans, staying close to them and chilling out. However, I also look forward to going on a daily walk where I can sniff all those interesting smells, and just check out what’s happening in the world around me. A medium sized yard would be most suitable.
I would be an ideal companion for either adults or older children. Once we get to know each other I’m sure we will be best friends forever, however I do need a little time before warming to new people. It would suit me to be homed with people who are home most of the time as I tend to get a bit anxious if left on my own for too long.
I enjoy meeting other dogs but do sometimes need to remember not to be too invasive to new friends when first introduced. It would be great if I go to a forever home where there is another dog to keep me company.
Love Pumba

Adoption details
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possibly invite you to a meet and greet.
