About Meowstro
Meowstro is the sweetest, most affectionate girl you'll ever meet. She thrives on human companionship and craves attention and love. Her playful yet calm nature makes her an ideal companion for anyone seeking a loving, gentle friend. Meowstro is known for being incredibly sweet and loving, with a special fondness for being pampered and doted on.
Meowstro certainly has a musical ear an amazing ability to respond to classical music! She seems to have a calming effect when the music plays, and it's clear she enjoys the soothing sounds as she meows along with the overtures. A truly unique cat with a refined taste in music!
Meowstro will follow you around the house and loves to curl up in your lap for snuggles. She's a true lap cat who will adore all the attention you give her.
She's a calm companion who will add a peaceful, loving energy to your home. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a soft, loyal friend who also loves cuddles.
Meowstro would do well in a variety of homes, as long as she was the only cat. She is social and could be great in a family with children or in a quieter home where you can spend quality time with her. If you're someone who loves classical music or appreciates a sweet, affectionate cat who will cuddle by your side, Meowstro is the perfect match.
To book a meet and greet with Meowstro please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
