She was the first mama to arrive at HVAFARC from an overpopulated property of over 50 cats, where every meal and cuddle was a hard-fought battle. Despite her tough start, Alana proudly became the shelter’s first “empty nester”—all four of her kittens have found loving homes, and now it’s her turn.

Alana isn’t shy about expressing herself, especially at mealtimes—if her bowl’s empty, you’ll hear about it! But behind that sass is a deeply affectionate girl who’s ready to bond with someone who truly understands her.

Alana is looking for a quiet, patient home with someone who’s experienced with nervous cats. She may take time to settle, but once she trusts you, she’ll reward you with love, headbutts, and plenty of purrs. She can coexist with calm cats and dogs, but would also thrive as your one-and-only.

With her beauty, brains, and a little tortie spice, Alana is ready to shine in a home that sees her for the gem she is.
