About Frankie - 4 Year OId Jack Russell X (Trial)
Everybody loves Frankie, the 4 year old Jack Russell cross Dachshund. Much bigger than his sausage dog friends, he’s a gentle giant among the Dachshunds. He’s the perfect mix of Dachshund cuteness and robust terrier.
Frankie weighs in at 13kg and is the perfect family dog, who stands nearly as tall as an adult’s knees when standing on his little legs. He loves to be near you, loves to be included in adventures and loves a bit of snuggle time and chilling out with you or his doggy friends. His easy-going nature makes him the perfect companion for taking out as not much fazes him.
He is a dream going for walks as he doesn’t pull on the lead and doesn’t react to other dogs. Frankie is happy for a stroll and a sniff and doesn’t have high energy needs, although with training he could be your running buddy. Frankie can sit when asked and his recall is pretty good. He travels well in the car and loves hopping in the car for a ride.
Frankie loves being around other dogs. He is happy to play if another dog instigates it and has a very gentle nature. He would be best suited to a home with another dog for company and would love someone home often as he doesn’t enjoy being alone. He’s gentle with children but can jump up to greet you which we are working on minimising while he is in foster care. Best for kids 5 and older.
Frankie is in foster care in New Lambton, Newcastle, NSW. He is available for adoption to NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD (not suited to flights).
Frankie is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated and treated for fleas, ticks and worms. His adoption fee is $600.
