About Piper - 8 Month Old Whippet X
Meet Piper – Your Loving Companion in Training!
Piper is an 8-10-month-old Whippet cross with a heart full of affection and a love for cuddles. Though she can be timid in new situations or around unfamiliar people, she’s steadily gaining confidence with patient guidance.
What Makes Piper Special:
- Affectionate and Cuddly: Piper is happiest when snuggled up with her humans.
- Toy Enthusiast: She adores her toys and enjoys brief bursts of playtime but is mostly a laid-back girl during the day.
- Quiet as a Mouse: Piper doesn’t bark, making her an ideal companion for a peaceful home.
- Dog-Friendly: She enjoys canine company but may feel nervous around larger dogs.
Training and Habits:
- Piper knows basic commands like "sit" and "drop" and is crate-trained for nighttime sleeping.
- She’s improving her manners, including learning not to jump up.
- Piper is currently working on feeling more comfortable with car rides.
What Piper Needs:
- A family with children aged 5 or older due to her occasional jumping.
- A home where someone is around most of the time if she’s the only dog.
- Indoor access when people are home and secure 1.5-meter fences for safe outdoor play.
- An environment with love, patience, and ongoing training to help her continue growing in confidence.
If you’re looking for a gentle, food-loving companion who will reward your care with endless affection, Piper might be the perfect match for your family!
