About Lola
Introducing our pocket rocket one moment then next minute energy conservative French bulldog - Lola!
Lola is a 13-month-old French Bulldog who is currently 11kgs
Lola came into care from a backyard breeder and has thrived in care. Lola was brought into care before she had any babies and has had all her vet work completed and now ready to find her furever home and live large!
Lola is like any Frenchie, she loves her zoomies around the backyard but also likes to sleep most of the day.
She loves her toys and is great at playing catch with them and she can even play soccer pushing the ball around the backyard on her own.
Lola is currently in care with other dogs - smaller than her and bigger than her and is dog friendly but does like being in charge.
Lola spends her day having access to in and outside of the home - she loves to play in the backyard (and sunbaking herself till she cooks). Lola loves playing with toys and confidently running around the backyard with a soccer ball.
She also likes to have access to inside (thru the doggy door) and snooze when she wants
Lola is toilet trained
She currently lives with some teenage girls in the home, and she loves when they carry her around like a baby on their hip and she will snuggle neck to neck with them.
Lola can be a bit unsure meeting new people and takes a moment to trust (her previous home was not a warm fuzzy home full of cuddles) but once she is comfortable with you, she will love to sit on your lap and cuddle but beware, she will give you kisses.
Lola sleeps inside at night and whilst not crate trained does sleep in an area but would absolutely love access to sleeping on beds or couches thru the night. Lola is used to sleeping with another dog or a human.
Lola is learning to walk on a lead and loves the outing, but we do remind people that she is a bracchy breed so walking must be conducted in appropriate weather and heat
Lola knows how to use stairs in the two-story home and can confidently go up the stairs but she has not yet mastered going down stairs although the 8 steps at the front of the house pose no problems up or down.
Lola does like to chase cats (and birds) if they are in the backyard
Lola is such a cutie and will melt your heart with her affectionate personality.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.

Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
