About Roy
Hi! I'm Roy.
Roy is an adorable little white dog bursting with personality and charm! This playful pup has a zest for life, especially when it comes to water. Whether he’s splashing around in his shell pool or joyfully chasing sprinklers and the hose, Roy is always ready for a fun-filled day in the sun!
Personality:
Roy is not just a water enthusiast; he’s also a loving companion. He adores his foster sister and spends hours playing with her, followed by cozy cuddle sessions to recharge for more playtime. His gentle nature makes him a perfect fit for families with children, as he has a natural affinity for kids and is eager to be their best friend.
Training & Skills:
Roy has shown remarkable progress in his training! He knows how to sit, shake, and wait patiently for his food—what a good boy! He’s also learning to control his excitement and has almost mastered the “no jumping” command. While he spends most of his time outdoors, Roy is getting the hang of the basics of indoor life and is ready to learn more.
Fun Facts:
- Loves car rides and is always ready for an adventure!
- Can’t wait to go for walks once he’s fully vaccinated.
- Enjoys sunbathing and exploring his surroundings.
Looking for:
Roy Rox is looking for a loving home where he can thrive and continue to learn. He would do best in a family that enjoys outdoor activities and can provide him with plenty of playtime and affection. If you’re ready for a fun-loving, water-loving companion who adores cuddles and playtime, Roy is the perfect match for you!
Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I’d like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I’ve learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I’ll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me “no” if I’m chewing something I shouldn’t and give me a chew toy instead. I’d love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don’t get bored with them.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations, because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
