About Simba
Hi friends! My name is Simba, before you say anything more (yes I’m more attractive than the lion from lion king…just a bit smaller).
My foster mum says I’m a stage 5 clinger…if I’m being honest I’d say I’m brinking on 6. I am little nervous and am sensitive to some loud noises. But as long as you give me cuddles and reassure me everything is okay, I calm down pretty quickly.
Now due to my good looks, I’m a bit of lady’s man. I have a bit of bias and prefer a lady as an owner but with some TLC and reassurance I warm up to men too.
I love cuddles, car rides, walkies and oh ‘em gee can we talk about small tennis balls!?! More specifically small SQUEAKY tennis balls!!! I could play with them ALL day (no literally all day) for some reason I never tire.
Please understand that I am a very loving boy when I am settled, but it is possible I may be extremely nervous when I meet you and may not be willing to engage.
My foster mum said it took a couple days for me to settle in with her. This means a meet and greet may be tough, but in the right home I will settle and give you plenty of love & kisses.
Medical notes
Three year old Simba is microchipped, desexed, up-to-date with vaccinations, as well as flea, tick, intestinal worm and heartworm prevention.
Simba has had a dental while in care and also an ultrasound to check his liver after noting that his ALT was elevated at his initial blood test. There were no significant findings and his blood results now have returned to normal, so the elevation was likely due to stress or previous poor diet.
His broken foot has healed and he has received the all clear from his vet. He also has some mild patella luxation, so we would recommend starting him on joint support to help as he ages.
