I am a fun guy in a pint size body!!!
I am a tiny little boy who is super sweet and gentle
My name is CJ, and I am a Mini Foxie x Chihuahua, and I am 1 year and 9 month old boy.
I came into care from a private surrender and the rescue has made sure that I have had all my vet work completed and they are on a mission to find me my furever home.
My foster mum says I was loved in my previous home but didn't really experience much in the big wide world so I can be nervous or unsure when meeting new people or in new situations, but I do warm up to people if you just give me a minute to settle.
I would love to find a home where I can learn to snuggle with my humans
Once I’m comfortable with my humans I love to run and play with other fur friends similar in size and do zoomies to show my humans when I’m happy and excited!
I love playing with the tennis balls - I love to chase the ball but still working on the fetch part. My foster mum says that I love exercise and doing things and would be a good companion on walks or jogs.
The rescue has said I can happily go to a home with another small breed dog that wants to play and wrestle with me or an only dog who gets to hang out with other dogs regularly
I am toilet trained
I have happily lived with a 10 year old boy but really small kids who scream and yell would make me nervous.
My foster mum says I'm the sweet little boy who just wants a family to love and have fun with I will always make you smile with my antics.
I love to sleep in the same room as you, I would definitely try and sleep on the bed with you and would love to sleep on the couch and all those wonderful places that I have heard of!
I haven't been around cats and most are probably bigger than me anyways but my foster mum has said she honestly has no idea how I would react (run or hide)
I would love to be in a home where there is someone home more often than not, and loves to have a lap friend......... I would be happy if you worked from home, or shift worker, or didn't need to work etc - I would love the human company to watch over me and give me cuddles.

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
