About Percy
Meet Percy. This brindle beauty is a calm and relaxed dog in the home, loves a snooze and a cuddle with his humans on the couch. We’ve found him to be an easy going dog, obedient and willing to learn. Percy also enjoys being out exploring in the yard and walks well on leash, travels well in the car and is not a barker.
Percy travelled from a distant rural pound to Sydney where he has just completed his training and is now ready to find his forever home. Check out the video of Percy at training - love the way he not only gets his training spot on but prances around like a thoroughbred. https://fb.watch/w4QT-I0VMD/
Percy is looking for a family who are dog savvy, who will include him in activities and are committed to continue his training and socialisation. He has great potential as a loyal and loving family pet. Percy would be fine as an only dog so long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time or he could be paired up with a relaxed female dog of similar size and energy. Definitely no cats or pocket pets and like all staffies, Percy needs good secure fencing around the home.
We believe Percy is a staffy mix, a bit bigger and taller than the average English staffy, he weighs around 21-22 kg, is very handsome bearing and has a lovely coloured shiny coat. He has the natural staffy affinity with humans.
If you’d like more information or to meet Percy, he would love to hear from you. All our dogs have a two week trial in their new home. Thank you 😊

Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of our animals we would love to hear from you.
Please submit an enquiry via Pet Rescue rather than emailing us.
In your enquiry please include:
* your location (where you live) and phone number,
* a brief description of the family home - number of adults and children in the home
* identify any other animals in the home
* how long the dog or cat would be left on its own each day
* your previous experience with dogs (or cats if your enquiry is about a cat)
* the type of fencing you have and whether your fencing is secure
* anything else you think may be relevant.
We try and answer all enquiries asap but are all volunteers, so we thank you for your patience.
If an animal is adopted inter-state we can help organise transport . The cost of transport is paid by the adopting family.
All our animals are desexed, vaccinated, wormed and microchipped. Our adoption fee covers our basic costs.
