About Peter & Pascal
Peter & Pascal are gorgeous boys who are sure to brighten your day. These two are best friends with gentle, relaxed personalities. Giving these mature boys a pamper and getting to know their unique quirks is sure to be a delight. Fond of all things cozy, these two love having lots of places to hide and nap.
Peter & Pascal are a pre-bonded pair, making them a great choice for a family without existing guinea pigs. These boys would thrive in a calm setting where they can enjoy a peaceful retirement. Like most guinea pigs, Peter & Pascal aren't looking for cuddles (though they are easy to handle when needed), and would prefer you show them love through gentle pets and treats.
Peter & Pascal would prefer a home with older respectful children/teenagers or adults only, and hope that you will be patient as they settle into home life. If you have cat or dog family members, please put thought into how you will keep them safely away from their enclosure. Pascal's long flowing hair will need occasional grooming to keep him looking his best.
Do you think that you can provide Peter & Pascal with a loving home for the rest of their lives (2-5 years)? If so, send us an enquiry and we'll get back to you as soon as possible to get these beautiful piggies adopted!
Peter & Pascal will be microchipped prior to adoption, and you will receive proof of this procedure. We kindly ask that after adoption we be permitted to remain an emergency contact on their microchips in case you are ever unreachable for any reason. They will also be treated with a parasite preventative before leaving us.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions. Not desexed due to age (reflected in reduced adoption fee).
Adoption details
All of our animals are seeking indoor only homes. We do not adopt out any animal to live alone (excluding entire male mice). If you do not have one or more compatible animals of the same species, you must adopt a bonded pair or group.
Once you apply to adopt, we'll talk with you about proper care of the animals you're looking to adopt, discuss any concerns you or we might have, and tell you more about our available animals. Using the application form on our website will ensure that you don't leave anything out.
Otherwise, please include as much detail as possible about your situation, other animals, experience with the species you're looking to adopt, and intended housing/diet when you apply. If there's a particular vet clinic you intend to use, please tell us the name (otherwise we can help you locate one that is knowledgable in small animals).
As part of the adoption process we require photos of a complete, suitable set up. We suggest contacting us prior to buying any cages or items for your new family members as many sold for small animals are not appropriate. We've also outlined our housing expectations on our social media, but don't be intimidated! We are here to help, not judge.
At the time of adoption, you'll be asked to pay an adoption fee and sign an adoption form. You'll receive an adoption packet including a detailed care guide for the species you've adopted, an adoption certificate, and any relevant veterinary records (proof of vaccination and sterilisation, microchip details, etc).
