About Ricotta
Meet Ricotta, the sweetest little "void" kitty with a heart full of love and a purr that will melt your heart! 🖤 Ricotta may be all black (the "void" part), but her personality shines brightly! She loves to play, especially with her brother and sister, but recently, she’s discovered that cuddles are amazing! Once Ricotta settles into a snuggle, her purr engine kicks into overdrive—she’s a true cuddle bug in the making!
Ricotta’s Ideal Home: Playful and Loving: Ricotta is looking for a family that’s around to keep up with her playful energy. She loves to run, jump, and wrestle, so she’ll need a family who can help her burn off all that kitten energy. Cuddles are a bonus, of course—she’s already learned that love is a good thing!
Cat Friend: Ricotta has grown up with lots of siblings, so she’d do best in a home with another cat or kitten to play with. If you have a friendly cat already, Ricotta would love to be their new best friend.
Ricotta’s Energy Level: High! As a kitten, Ricotta’s days are filled with running, jumping, and wrestling. She has tons of energy and will need a family who can keep up with her playful antics. Lots of interactive playtime is key to keeping her happy and healthy!
Suitability to Children: Ricotta is still learning about how to use her claws properly, so she’d do best with older, cat-savvy kids who can handle her playtime excitement and help her with her wand toys. She loves wand toys and would be thrilled to have someone hold the wand for her to chase and bat at.
Suitability to Other Cats or Dogs: Ricotta LOVES her siblings and would do wonderfully in a home with another playful cat. She’s also been around other cats, so she could be okay with a calm, cat-experienced dog who respects her space and plays gently.
Ricotta’s Fun Fact: Wand toys are Ricotta’s absolute favorite! 🎉 She loves chasing pom-poms, ribbons, feathers, and anything that moves! If you have a wand toy, Ricotta will be your best friend in no time. 😉

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
