About Elaine
So you think you’re spongeworthy hey? Are you Elaine worthy too?
Elaine is now ready to find her new place.. away from the boys.
While she can be a little reserved about meeting new people she does come around after a while, time and patience will be needed for her to come out of her shell fully.
She has shown that she can be good around other dogs while in care besides Kramer who picks on her at times hehe.
Elaine has met a rabbit and while interested she didn’t try anything, she’s the same with cats but tends to keep her distance.
She loves to chew on things especially her toys, so we suggest having a good selection for this girl.
Further training would be great for Elaine, not only will it help build a strong bond but will provide her tight the confidence she needs to tackle the world.

* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
