About Lentil
Meet Lentil, a teeny tiny mini 6-month-old kelpie puppy with a happy disposition, who is completely devoted to his humans.
Lentil is very switched on and clever. He has brilliant engagement and loves to learn. And he’s agile and fast. He will be an active boy who would make an amazing partner for someone who is keen on training or fun activities like agility. For a young puppy, he already has a very good off-switch.
He comes from working parents, and could potentially go to a working home – but he is untested on stock.
This loyal and smoochy boy absolutely loves to be near (or on) his human and loves a cuddle. At only 5.5 kilos, he is likely to remain the perfect snuggle size, even when fully grown.
Lentil loves playing with his siblings and is very polite with the older dogs and respectful of their boundaries. He would love another stable and playful dog to help show him the ways of the world.
Lentil is toilet and crate trained, travels well in the car, and is learning basic commands like sit.
He is looking for an active family who will give him plenty of mental and physical stimulation, allow him inside as part of the family, and include him in all of their adventures.
His new family must be committed to continuing his socialisation and ongoing training to help him reach his full potential and develop into a well-adjusted dog.
If you think Lentil might be the best mate you’ve been searching for, send us an application with some details about the life you can offer him.
Lentil is located in the ACT.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au

We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
