About Kofi
All About Me and My Unique Personality:
As the only boy in my litter and being the smallest, my sisters used to gang up on me. I'm very relaxed and easy going, I'm getting more adventurous every day. I will need a bit of time to adjust to a new home - I do like people and like to touched, but not smothered. I think once I'm away from my litter mates I will bond quickly with my humans. I am an old soul and little old man stuck in a kittens body!
My Ideal Home:
A quieter home would be best for me as I may retreat if there's lots going on around me. A smaller family - retired person or couple with older kids would be a good fit for me. I would be fine to be an only pet.
What is Known About My Background:
I came into care with my siblings and my mum when we were about 10 days old.
How Do I Interact with Kids, Dogs, Cats and Other Pets:
I live with adult cats and am very respectful. I have a very soft nature and don't like to be roughed up. I would adjust to another pet but not one that has super high energy. I am comfortable around dogs. A docile dog would be a good fit for me.
Older kids (8 years and older) who understand that I am not a toy and need to be treated gently is best. I wont cope with loud excitable toddlers, I would just hide to avoid them. I do like people - I just need a more chilled environment.

Adoption details
Applicants will be required to complete and submit an Adoption form from https://www.hunteranimalrescue.com.au
HAR uses the details in this form to select the most appropriate family for our animals. This form allows us to get to know you, your home, your family, lifestyle and level of experience with pets.
Adoptions are NOT approved on a first come first served basis. The adoption process can be lengthy by the time we process all expressions of interest.
HAR Adoption Process
1- Carer will assess and arrange a meet and greet with suitable applicants.
2- If the meet and greet is successful, a yard/home inspection is conducted.
3- If your yard/home passes inspection, the adoption fee is paid, paperwork completed and a 2 week trial period is arranged.
4- On successful completion of the trial period HAR will submit paperwork to Local Council for processing.
Adoption fee includes:- mandatory de-sexing, microchip, vaccination, vet check, flea and worm treatment.
