About Khaleesi

Then Khaleesi is the girl for you!
She loves sticking her head out the window to look for the perfect spot to explore.
Khaleesi is a young, enthusiastic and energetic girl who enjoys exploring new places with her human companions.
She loves finding new places that she can go on a sniffarie in. Khaleesi walks well on a lead and doesn’t mind being around other dogs on walks.
She’s super food motivated and is learning so many new things with her foster mum, she’s even doing agility in the back yard and OMG had she show some real potential.
Khaleesi has shown that she can be a good girl around other dogs and cats, mind you if they run she does chase as she thinks it’s just a game. We would recommend supervision around cats due to this.
She plays well with other dogs and is happy to entertain herself with a toy or two. Khaleesi is crate training which she is just about a pro at, she is starting to put herself in there when she needs a break too.
Toilet training is easy with Khaleesi and she knows where to go when she needs to go, you know.
If you are looking for a dog that is easy to train, loves to please and is eager to learn anything you can throw at her, then Khaleesi is your girl.

If you are interested in finding out more about the dogs we have in care, please go to our website at http://www.dustypawsdogrescue.com/adopt and fill in an adoption form.
* Please note, this is not a contract or agreement of any kind, only expression of interest in our dog. We will not conduct any meet and greets unless this form has been filled out and submitted for review. Only approved applicants will get to meet our dogs. *
Once approved you will be contacted by a team member and can organise a time best suited to meet with the carer and dog. If you have other dogs they must also be at the meeting, including any children in the immediate family.
Before applying please consider the following:
• real estate approval if renting
• any fencing repairs that may need to be done
• outside shelter
• breed knowledge
• do you have enough time for the breed of dog you are applying for?
If you and the dog get along, you have to option of taking the dog on the spot (at this time you will need to pay the full adoption price and sign the adoption agreement) You will then get a 2-week trial with the dog, during this time should things not work out you are to return the dog to Dusty Paws Dog Rescue. You will then receive a full refund; less $50 admin fee within 7 business days of the return of the dog.

Please also keep in mind that we are a volunteer run rescue which means we don’t have someone manning the phone 24/7, we all work full time jobs and get back to your calls and messages as soon as we can. We thank you for your time and patients with us.
