About Coco Pops
Meet Coco Pops, a charming Border Collie x Kelpie puppy who’s as unique as his name! 🐾 While his siblings all look like classic Border Collies, Coco Pops stands out with his striking Kelpie features. But it's not just his looks that make him special—this little guy has a heart of gold and a story that will melt yours.
Coco Pops is a true fighter. He’s bravely battled through parvo virus, which meant he spent his early weeks in vet clinics and quarantine, missing out on the usual puppy experiences. While he didn't have a traditional upbringing, Coco Pops has become an expert at the basics! Nail trims, grooming, and spending time alone? No problem for this little pro.
Now, he's making up for lost time, and we couldn't be more proud of his progress. He's grown braver and more curious every day, happily bonding with the other dogs in his foster home.
Coco Pops' Ideal Home:
- Gentle and Patient: Coco Pops is still a shy guy, so he’ll thrive in a quieter home with a family who understands his need for time and space. He’s looking for a dog-savvy family who will gently introduce him to the big wide world, helping him gain confidence without overwhelming him.
- Active and Engaging: While he’s currently a lovely mix of playful and calm, Coco Pops will grow into an active dog who will need daily physical and mental exercise. Think more than just park trips—he’ll need fun adventures that challenge his mind and body, and help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog.
- A Comfy Couch and Yard: Coco Pops would love a home with a yard where he can run and play at his leisure, but he’s also looking for a cozy spot on the couch to kick up his paws after a good adventure!
Coco Pops’ Personality: Sweet but Shy: Coco Pops is a little nervous around new people, so he would do best in a home with kids 10 and above who can be gentle and patient with him.
Social with Other Dogs: He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, and would love a gentle canine companion who matches his calm energy. He’s not a fan of rough players or pushy dogs, though, so a calm and friendly dog would be the perfect match for him.
Cat Friendly: Coco Pops hasn’t met any cats yet, but we believe he’d do well in a home with a feline friend.
This sweet, brave boy has come a long way and is now ready to find a home that will continue his journey of growth and adventure. If you’re looking for a playful yet gentle companion to join you on life’s adventures, Coco Pops could be your perfect match. 💖
