About Yoda
đŸ Personality: Yoda is such an inquisitive little girl. She wants to sniff everything she sees and has such a clever awareness about her - she identifies whose home just based on the sound of their car and starts wiggling her bum so hard it knocks over pot plants when she realises itâs someone she knows. She loves to play tug - itâs her favourite game in the world. Sheâs a healthy mix between little Miss Independent (we often find her in the yard sniffing things or chewing a cow hoof) and then a massive snuggle bug who happily flops in your lap and lays there for hours. Sheâs a sassy, confident girl who has won over the hearts of everyone sheâs met at cafes, the markets and passersby on the street⊠and is the best of a high-energy dog who also just wants quality downtime with her people.
đ Training: Yoda absolutely loves to train. She is very food and toy-motivated and has already learnt to sit, stand and drop. She can wait for food, doesnât go out the front gate, has massively improved in her recall and has even started to learn middle & spin as party tricks! She sleeps through the night in her crate, and happily stays in the yard all day as she knows she has another dog friend with her for company. She has gotten so much better with not jumping up or accidentally nibbling fingers when playing tug. Being in her teenage years, Yoda would do well with someone who can continue supporting her loose leash walking skills, and her ability to walk past dogs without needing to rush and say hello!
đ Perfect Home: Yoda would love to live in a home with kids or people who have an active lifestyle and want to include her in them. Whilst she is a huge fan of nap times, she has lots of puppy energy and would love to be part of a home who will take her on big sniffing hikes, teach her new tricks and provide lots of opportunities to run around and play. She would thrive with another dog in the home as this has prevented her from getting lonely & trying to escape. Sheâs a family girl who would love having people home to spend time with so she can curl up at their feet and feel safe & loved.
