Ranger is a handsome boy, easy-going, smart and friendly who just want to please you and be your bestie.
He is the perfect companion for an active family with young children, he doesn't mind cats and he is happy to tag along the family on some adventures to the beach or elsewhere.
He loves the beach and works well on the leash without pulling. He is toilet trained and house trained. He does need a little bit of training with his recall and commands but nothing that treats can not fix. He is still very much a puppy though and will require someone who is willing to give him some love and attention. He can be clingy and needing a lot of reassurance in new environments, probably from being misplaced and surrendered. He is an excellent guard, very friendly towards other dogs, he would actually thrive in a family with another four legged friend.
Only warning would be chickens, which he would probably try to chase and herd, from his reaction towards Brush turkeys!

~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed? (This includes basic training around the home such as manners & trick training)
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to give me a home?
