Hey I’m Kelti, a 1year old German shepherd that has so much love to give. I love giving kisses and cuddles and would love to be a lap dog, but my foster mum says I’m too big to sit on her lap.
I am great with kids, but my foster mum says I’m too strong to play with pre-teens as I don’t realise my own strength and can knock you down pretty easy.
I love going for walks and runs, and would love a big yard with lots of balls to play with. My foster mum takes me for a long walk everyday (except if it’s raining heavy..I don’t know why as I love playing in the rain, I don’t even care if there’s thunder..I’m super brave). Did I mention I love balls.. soccer balls are my favourite.
I am fully house trained, and I’ve only had 1 accident when my family went out shopping and left me inside for too long because of the rain.
I also love to sleep inside with the family, but I was a good boy and didn’t make a noise when I had to sleep outside one night.
I’m looking for my forever home, with someone who is strong enough to keep up with me, that can handle how powerful I am, and also has experience with keeping up with my training. I know all of my basic commands including heel when out for walks, I know to wait to be signalled to come inside, I’ll sit and wait for you to place my food down before I eat…but I do need you to show me that you are the boss and have the patience to train me in a new environment.
