About Poppy
Sweet girl Poppy is ready to spread the love, could she share it with you?
Poppy is good with other dogs, she loves playing tug with her foster sibling and wrestling with her.
Although she can be shy when meeting new people once she warms to them she will be your best friend. She enjoys her food and tasty treats (this is a great way to gain some trust)
This being said it will make it easier to train her further, although a smart girl there is a lot more for her to learn in the world.
Poppy loves chewing on toys and chasing a little ball around, before giving it a good chew.
She is gaining confidence in going out and experiencing new places with her foster mum and as her foster mum describes her ‘a natural on a loose lead’.
Continued socialisation is suggested to help her gain confidence around things like children, cats and new things that may seem scary.
Poppy has proven to be good at learning new things and picked up on basic commands very quickly, shes learnt sit, down and shake .
Poppy enjoys her crate and sleeps through the night well in it, she will also go in during the day to rest. She will need further time and patience with toilet training but so far so good.
She knows how to use the doggy door, she is quite brave and curious about her surroundings and loves to explore things in and around the house.
If Poppy sounds like a good fit for you flick us an application, you might be lucky enough to take thins girl home.
