About Elmo
Meet Elmo, the charming senior gentleman who will steal your heart with his gentle and affectionate nature. His loving disposition is evident in his delight for snuggling and sleeping beside you, making him the perfect companion for quiet evenings at home. Elmo may be a senior cat, but his spirit remains youthful as he revels in playtime and loves to explore his surroundings. His playful antics and occasional bursts of energy keep life entertaining, and he can often be found frolicking around the house chasing after his favorite toys.
Though Elmo enjoys bursts of activity, he equally appreciates his downtime. He enjoys sunny windowsills for sunbathing. You will find a balance of liveliness and tranquility in Elmo that suits various households, whether bustling or serene. Elmo thrives in a household hard-paved with hardwood floors, dim-lit dining rooms, or country estates. Families, singles, and couples can all find an ideal companion in Elmo.
Elmo prefers the company of his human companions and prefer to be the only cat in the household - although he does get along with foster sister Cleopatra.
His affection knows no bounds when he has you all to himself, and he's ready to shower you with love in return. So why not add some warmth and charm to your life by welcoming Elmo into your home?

Medical notes
Elmo has an allergy that causes him to scratch his skin. This is being managed on a special diet and cortisone every 2 days.
Based on his last vet check, his ear swabs and skin check looked good!
Moving forward he'll be on 0.2 cortisone every two days + the Royal Canin anallergenic food, and then go back for a vet visit in a month. His cortisone dose will slowly be lowered on advice from the vet.
The vet noted that if there were any signs of blood in his stool or a lack of appetite, he will need to go to the vet (as this is a potential side effects of cortisone). Although this is low risk as he dosage is slowly being reduced.
