About Marley - 4 Month Old Dachshund X (hold)
MEET MARLEY!
Evidently clear by his one Dachshund ear and one Border Collie ear.
This little pocket rocket is one happy-go-lucky pup! Full of love and play, he’d make an amazing addition to your family.
Marley is very dog and kid friendly! He currently lives with another dog in foster care and absolutely loves spending his days playing and wrestling. He follows his foster fur brother around like a shadow.
He does well when left home alone, as long as he has his foster fur brother for company. Marley would love a home where someone is around more often or where he has a fur friend to keep him company.
Since coming into care, he has made great progress with toilet training, quickly mastering the doggy door and taking himself outside with only a few mistakes here and there. He’s also improving with basic commands.
Being food-motivated and smart, Marley would thrive with someone committed to continuing his training to help him become the best dog he can be!
This happy boy loves his toys, puzzle balls, and walks. Given his breed combination, he thrives on plenty of mental and physical stimulation, sniffing, and exploring!
Marley is the perfect lap dog, loving to cuddle up by your side after a day of fun. He is also sleep through the night in his own bed.

Marley’s adoption fee is $800 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Marley is in foster care in Broadmeadow, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He'll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he's 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family
member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
