About Beanie
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
A fearless, confident adventurer at heart, Beanie likes nothing better than spending her days exploring and investigating all the nooks and crannies of her foster home! She's also keen to see what's going on outside and enjoys sitting in her bed by the window.
When she's not exploring, Beanie is trying her best to make friends with her adult feline foster sister - so far with limited success, but she's not giving up!
This beautiful girl adores strokes and chin scratches, even rolling over for tummy rubs, but hasn't progressed to being a lap cat yet or to consent to being picked up for longer than a few seconds. But, she loves to lie beside her foster carer on the couch, or on top of the sofa, where she can get lots of pats and reward you with lots of purrs :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Beanie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Being quite independent, I'll adapt easily to most types of homes - but having said that, I do LOVE pats! So if you're home a fair bit and down for some company, that would be ideal.
I also LOVE cats!
Sadly I may not be the right match for small children, so a home with only adults, or with kids aged 10+ is probably best.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I like to explore and to play with my mouse toy on my own, and I enjoy a good pounce with the laser toy or the wand with my human, but I'm not doing zoomies all day. When I'm not exploring, you'll usually find me having a nap in the sun by the window.
Of an evening, I like to snooze next to you on the couch, happily accepting pats.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Though I haven't met any children at this stage, I think a family home with older kids (10+) could work!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: A lovely feline playmate in my new home is my dream! I grew up with my sister Mosh Pit, who's also available for adoption (she's with a different foster carer), so I'm used to living with another cat. I've been trying to make friends with my adult foster sister who isn't really keen, but I'm persevering...
While I've not got any experience with dogs, I think I'd get on well with a friendly one.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
