Meet Magma, the kelpie who loves nothing more than a belly rub. This adorable guy has already mastered some basics including crate training overnight, and already knows some simple commands like sit, down, and shake (almost!). He's a quick learner and is eager to please, especially when there's a tasty treat involved!

Magma is affectionate, and gets so excited to see you, he jumps for joy, but quickly realises he gets more pats when he sits down. He has learnt how to use the doggy door, and is keen to find a family who is able to continue to teach him new things. He has loved playing with our resident dog, he is so gentle with her, letting her win most rounds of rough play even though she is half his size.

A resident mentor dog would be a great playmate and would help teach him the ropes. As he is still a big pup, dog savvy older kids would be best. Magma will need some space to play so an enclosed yard is a must.
