About Widget
Widget is a beautiful friendly little girl. She was shy when she came into the rescue, but has blossomed so much and is now happy to meet new people and get a pat.
She loves the men of the house. The moment they have a spare lap, she's there taking up as much space on their lap as possible. If the lap seems unavailable, she'll snuggle up right against them on the couch.
She loves to play with toys and with the other foster cats in the house. Cardboard boxes are a big favourite as well as those ball towers where the balls go round and round.
She loves her food, and will do pretty much anything for a treat. Food is the way to her heart!
She's ok with kids and she's great with other cats. She's fine with the foster dogs in her foster house as long as they don't try to lick her in the face (which is fair enough I reckon!)
Could your home be Widget's forever home?

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
