About Stormy
Meet Stormy, the epitome of gentle sweetness wrapped up in a quiet, feline package. This beautiful cat has a serene demeanor, which, given a little time and patience, blossoms into unwavering love and affection. She is the quintessential nurturer who, once she recognizes you as her new best friend, will become an inseparable part of your life.
Stormy may take a moment to warm up to new friends, but those who invest in her find their patience richly rewarded. Her reserve will soon give way to the most charming companionship. When at ease, she is happy to curl up beside you, purring contentedly, filling the home with warmth and love. Her transformation from shy to affectionate makes her one-of-a-kind, adding a heartfelt dynamic to the household.
Stormy is currently residing at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South, eagerly waiting for that special someone who will understand her gentle nature. If you are ready to welcome a calm and loving companion into your life, consider asking to meet her. Filling out the online adoption expression of interest is your first step toward welcoming a serene and loving presence into your home.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
