About Billie
Meet Billie, an elegant and affectionate female cat with a stunning diluted Torti coat. While her shy nature might make her cautious at first, Billie is one of those companions who reveals her true, loving personality once she feels safe and comfortable in her new surroundings.
Once Billie has settled in, she blossoms into a gentle companion who enjoys nothing more than warm companionship. Her favourite moments are when she receives gentle pats, to which she responds with heartfelt smooches. With her gentle disposition, Billie would be an ideal companion for someone seeking a loving and warm-hearted feline friend to share their day-to-day life with.
Billie would love to find a peaceful home where she can enjoy cozy nooks and the chance to curl up beside you. Her capacity for affection is sure to bring a soothing presence to your household, making each day a little brighter.
If you think Billie could be the perfect addition to your life, we encourage you to visit her at 17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. Our doors are open to potential adopters from Monday to Saturday, between 10 am and 3 pm. For those interested in providing a loving home for Billie, please don't hesitate to complete our online adoption expression of interest by visiting [this link](https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/). Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
