About Luka
Meet Luka, a gentle soul searching for a serene and loving home where he can truly thrive. While he may initially seem shy, this handsome boy is brimming with affection and warmth, just waiting to manifest in the right environment. His purrs and loving gestures make him an incredibly rewarding companion for someone willing to give him the time he needs to feel secure.
Luka has a soft spot for conversation and companionship, quickly responding with endearing smooches and eager to soak up all the pats you can offer. Give Luka all the love and attention after a long, quiet day spent working from home.
In order to help Luka blossom, he requires a quiet home without too much hustle and bustle. It may take a little patience, but once he feels safe and comfortable, you'll see Luka's true, sweet nature shine through.
If you're ready to meet this charming gentleman and provide him with the loving home he deserves, please arrange a meeting by appointment.

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
