About Zara
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (any age)
Inside only
Meet Zara,
Zara is an independent, friendly & happy girl who is suitable for all owners! Zara is outgoing & playful. A true feline, she is curious, playful & affectionate. She loves to engage with her human friends & eager to show you how clever she is when she plays with her toys. Zara is adaptable, but is best suited to a quiet home as she is a little sensitive to loud noises.
Zara is open to meet kids of any age. She is very social & loves being picked up, carried & cuddled and is an overall very easy-going cat who can handle a lot of attention. She loves all types of affection and being patted & scratched anywhere!
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Zara would go living with dogs. In saying this, as she is a little sensitive to loud noises dogs may be too much for her.
As for other cats, Zara will be fine to live with other cats as she is friendly & social but as always we recommend a slow & gradual interaction to existing cats. When meeting other cats in the cattery, Zara became excited & was chirping to them & starting making biscuits.
Zara is best to live indoors only. Having her outside puts her at risk of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. Zara will happily be an indoor cat & most importantly will be safer being inside, too.
Zara has mid-range energy & loves all toys offered to her; she especially loves dangly & string toys.
Zara isn't fussy when it comes to food & she is a super clean girl who always uses her litter tray with any issues!
Staff Comments: Zara is a perfect girl, she is very sweet & playful. She'd make a great addition to any home as she is just a lovely, little cat to be around. Her play style is hilarious & we have no doubt that she will make you laugh! Zara is a bit of a water baby - she plays with her water bowl.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
