About Destiny
Destiny is a beautiful young Mastiff/Cane Corso mix who adores her people and loves being part of family life. Although she’s courageous and watchful, she is also playful and eager to please.
She was born on 12 August 2024 and weighed 32 kgs on 28 October 2025. She still has some growing to do. Mastiffs generally reach physical and mental maturity around three years of age.
So Destiny is still very much a puppy at heart — she approaches life with enthusiasm and a whole of body wag! She loves to play tug, chase toys, and then curl up beside you to watch TV. She’s crate-trained, house-trained, and sleeps peacefully through the night.
Outdoors, Destiny likes to perch somewhere high, as you can see in the photos, so she can keep an eye on her surroundings.
Ever the guardian, she is protective of her territory, including “her” car, and will let you know if someone unfamiliar is nearby.
Destiny travels well in the car (though she’d happily be your co-pilot in the front passenger seat if you let her!) but is protective if the car is parked and a stranger comes too close for her comfort.
She is very strong on leash.
Smart, food-motivated, and very responsive, Destiny has the exuberance of a young dog and will do best with a strong, experienced owner who can bring out the best in her.
Like most Mastiffs, Destiny thrives in a home with space to move and people who understand large breeds. She’s best suited to country or suburban life, with experienced owners who can continue her training and give her the structure and companionship she craves.
Because of her size, strength and enthusiasm, she’s not suitable for older folk or families with young children — she simply doesn’t realise how big she is! Check out the photo of her where she's sitting on her foster mum's lap!!
Destiny gets on with dogs that match her energy and size. She’s not keen on small dogs or cats.
When she’s not playing or snuggling, Destiny can be found happily chewing on a pumpkin, radish, or carrot — her favourite enrichment treats.
If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and lively companion, Destiny might just be your perfect match.
