About Shelby
Meet Shelby, an outgoing and endearing Chihuahua mix whose vibrant personality lights up any room. Shelby is the quintessential small dog with a big heart, and she delights in making friends with other little dogs. She's a bundle of joy wrapped in a petite package, always ready for a playful romp or a cozy cuddle.
Shelby may not be a fan of strolling on a lead, but she more than makes up for it with her love of pats and playful antics. She has a knack for jumping up with excitement when it's time for fun, showcasing her zest for life in every bounce.
While she might have unique walking preferences, Shelby is incredibly social and accustomed to being among cats, provided they remain calm and avoid invoking her playful chase instinct. Shelby is suited for a loving home where her friendly and outgoing personality can flourish.

Medical notes
Shelby has mild alopecia and skin irritation on limbs. Treatment with cortisone has been given. This will need to be monitored.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
