About Baxter
Meet Baxter, he is a laid-back, Foxy boy who’s ready to become part of your family! This sweet boy loves people and will greet you with an adorable happy dance every time you come home from work. 🕺
Whether he’s lounging outside or keeping an eye on his surroundings, Baxter is always content to be near the action and enjoys spending time with his family. 👨👩👧👧
True to his foxie nature, Baxter is vigilant and will happily alert you when a stranger is at the door. He never fails to let foster mum knows there's yet another K mart special delivery coming up the drive way. His protective nature makes him a great companion for anyone looking for a loyal and reliable friend. That being said, once the coast is clear, he’s happy to relax and enjoy the outdoors, soaking up the sunshine and watching the world go by. 👮♂️
Baxter would thrive in a home where he can be treated like part of the family. While he’s not used to younger children, he’d love to share his home with teenagers or adults who will respect his space and offer him plenty of love and attention. 🐾
He would be fine as the only dog and receive all the love from his humans. He has often shared his life with another female dog. He has not been tested with cats or other animals. 🐶
He also loves the backyard and would need 5ft fences.🦴
If you're looking for a calm, loving, and watchful companion to share your days with, Baxter is the dog for you! Come meet him today and see how his sweet, easygoing personality can brighten your day. 🌞

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
