Foxy is an extraordinary young husky with a heart full of love and an infectious zest for life. At just 7 months old, this old soul is ready to bring joy, affection, and endless fun to his forever family.
Personality
Foxy has a huge heart and a vibrant personality. He quickly bonds with his humans, showing his affection with growly ātalksā that melt hearts. Heās playful, outgoing, and independent, always eager to impress his pack. Foxās unique husky antics include zoomies, happy dances, and his own delightful husky songs.
Social Nature
Foxy is incredibly sociable and gets along well with other dogs, blending seamlessly into his foster siblingsā pack. He thrives on outdoor adventures, whether itās running, playing, or exploring his backyard. He even loves swimming, diving in like a natural and drying off in the sun after bath time.
Training & Commands
Foxy is learning commands like āsitā and āwait,ā especially when rewarded with belly rubs, cuddles, and treats. His favorite rewards include liver treats, chicken jerky, and puppy milk sticks. While heās still mastering some skills, Fox is eager to please and enjoys positive reinforcement.
Exercise & Walking
Foxy is an active pup who loves his walks. He walks well on a lead but can pull at the start, so heāll need a confident handler to guide him. A firm-fitting harness is recommended to ensure heās comfortable and secure.
Diet
Foxy has a structured feeding routine with a small cup of dry food in the morning and evening. He currently eats Royal Canin Relax Care and Hills Gastrointestinal dry food to support his adjustment to new environments. Heās been sharing meals with his foster siblings without any food aggression.
Home life
Foxy has adjusted wonderfully to his foster homeās pack rules. He sleeps peacefully at night, either with his foster siblings or in an open crate. Fox is also good with children, considering them part of his pack, with experience interacting with kids as young as 7 years old.
Ideal Forever Home
Foxy would thrive in an active home with another suitable aged and sized canine companion. His ideal family will continue his training, walk him regularly, and provide him with the love and structure he needs. While he hasnāt mastered a doggy door yet, heās making great progress in house training with minimal accidents.
