Everyone, meet Oleander!
You will not find a sweeter kinder heart than this beautiful lady. Oleander was passed on to us from the local shelter where she spent over 2 years in foster care healing a broken pelvis she arrived with as a kitten. She's ready to step out of foster care once and for all to find her forever home!
Oleander loves company and she just adores tottering around with her foster humans. When she first made her way to GAR, she was functioning on anti-anxiety medication. She has formed a habit of hair pulling which they think was triggered by some pelvic pain from a kitten mixed with the stress of a shelter. Now she has been in a safe, loving environment, she has been able to enjoy life medication-free. She loves the company of her humans and foster cats so she must have one in her forever home to ensure she always has someone by her side. She's still happy to venture off around the house on her own, but enjoys having the companionship not too far away.
Oleander has been an indoor only cat (with the exception of a cat run) while in care, and this must continue in her forever home for her safety. Especially being a white cat, she needs extra protection from the sun. A cat run would be an added bonus though! Her coat requires some regular brushing to ensure she stays in tip top condition, and to help manage her shedding.
Oleander is currently being monitored for arthritis by the vet, so her forever humans must be prepared to continue with monitoring this which will include vet appointments.
This special lady is well and truly ready to find her forever home with some special people. If you're ready to give her all the love in the world, please apply!
Oleander is desexed, microchipped. up to date with vaccinations, flea and worm treatments.
