Meet Chocolate – Your Perfect Little Companion 🍫

Chocolate is a sweet toy poodle with a funny and gentle disposition and a soft spot for staying close to his people.

He’s a loyal little shadow who’ll be right by your side, whether you’re relaxing on the couch or going about your day.

While Chocolate can be a bit cautious around new people or unfamiliar situations, he warms up fairly quickly with a little time and patience.

Underneath that initial shyness, he’s loving and affectionate, and quick to show his playful side once he feels comfortable.

He’s a little dog with a big heart, ready to bring a steady stream of cuddles and companionship into the lives of those he loves.

Chocolate would thrive in a calm, loving home, ideally a family with older children who know how to be gentle and patient in order to bring out the best in him. As Chocolate can be quite nervous around sudden movements and loud noises, small children frighten him and he has growled at them.

Chocolate is only a young dog at 12 months and could benefit from further training and exposure to new experiences to increase his confidence and ability to handle new situations.

He has a good brain but requires some direction to be his best self.

As Chocolate is a poodle with a very curly coat, he also needs regular grooming; his new owner must be able to afford professional grooming or be willing to undertake the grooming themselves.

With the right home and dedicated owner, Chocolate can embark on a journey towards becoming a less fearful and more relaxed companion.

He has already made great strides in his foster home and has increased in confidence.

Chocolate is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, microchipped, HW tested (negative), and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
