About Ugo
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A grassed yard for playtime
Meet Ugo, or Hewy as we affectionately call him. He is a sweet, gentle soul with a calm and relaxed demeanor. He’s not one to be jumpy or boisterous, and enjoys taking things at his own pace. While he’s more of a laid-back guy, he still loves a few short walks to explore and sniff around his neighborhood.
When it comes to playtime, Ugo is all about fun—especially during a game of ball! He has bursts of energy that’ll remind you of the Energiser bunny, but in his own charming way. He would thrive in a home with a good-sized yard, where he can entertain himself with squeaky toys or prance around with a ball in his mouth. He's learning to play fetch with his own twist: throw one ball, and he’ll happily bring it back, ready for the next one! Ugo is very responsive to training and enjoys learning new things.
At heart, Ugo is a lovable companion who enjoys his downtime. He’s content lounging around with his favorite toys, and he’s perfectly comfortable being left alone for longer stretches, making him a great companion for full-time workers. He’s respectful of boundaries, knows to stay out of bedrooms and the kitchen (unless he hears the sound of dinner being prepared!), and prefers to stay on the floor rather than jump up on furniture.
Ugo has a special way with kids, gently sniffing and waiting for a pat, showing off his well-mannered nature. He’s a quiet, well-behaved boy who is just beginning to blossom and would make a loving and loyal companion in the right home.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
